Jeremy (Pushleads):
Hi, I am Jeremy, and I’ve got James Fisher with me from Sundance Power Systems. How are you, James?
James Fisher (Sundance Power Systems, Director of Sales and Marketing):
I’m doing great, Jeremy, thanks!
Jeremy:
So, tell us a little bit about Sundance Power Systems. I know you guys have been in business for nearly 30 years.
James Fisher:
That’s right. So, Sundance was founded in 1995, right here in Western North Carolina. We’ve been in business, as you said, nearly 30 years. We’ve grown from the founder’s laundry room to, for a while, the barn out there, and now our headquarters here in Weaverville. We serve about a two-hour drive radius from Asheville. So that does cover upstate South Carolina and the greater Western North Carolina area. We do commercial jobs outside the area. We just did one in Charlotte last year, for instance.
James Fisher:
An interesting fact is our founder’s home was the very first officially net-metered home in North Carolina, and that means the power goes two ways. When you overproduce, it goes to the grid, and you get some credits for that from the power company, and you can utilize those when you need to. So that’s a fun fact.
James Fisher:
One of the other differences with Sundance from maybe some of the other companies is we have a great service department that handles solar, radiant heating systems, old solar hot water systems, whatever it may be, both for systems that we’ve installed or other companies, once we assess those systems. So that is something that’s a differentiator, I think. There’s a lot of good companies out there, but no one’s been doing it since 1995 in this area except Sundance!
Jeremy:
So, if someone wants to learn more about you guys, what’s the best way to do that?
James Fisher:
Well, the website’s always a good option, sundancepower.com. It’s full of all kinds of information, and in fact, there’s a historic timeline on the home page, which goes through all kinds of highlights over the years. Or just give us a call at (828) 645-2080.
Jeremy:
Awesome. Thanks so much for your time.
James Fisher:
Thank you!
