This month’s spotlight shines on Nick Tucci, one of Sundance’s amazing and talented Crew Leaders. Nick was born in Pennsylvania and has a birthday coming up this week! While currently residing with friends just outside of West Asheville, Nick recalls his time growing in Pennsylvania fondly. “I grew up between two sisters in a very nature- loving, creativity- nurturing household. We lived in the woods, in a passive solar house that my father built right before I was born, and my parents still live there. I believe that I’m the vagabond of my immediate family … My elder sister just had her fourth child and my younger sister just got engaged.”
Nick has a Bachelors in Earth Science with a minor in Studio Art, Fine Art Metals. Nick is inspired to work in the renewable energy field by a desire to save the world, on module at a time. His vision for the planet includes “less waste, clean energy, fewer people, and smaller homes.”
