Helios Warriors, Inc. not only provides holistic therapies, but also actively participates in community engagement initiatives that foster greater awareness and support for veterans and their families. Through workshops, outreach programs, and collaborative events, they strive to create a network of resources that empower those they serve. Their commitment to enhancing the quality of life for veterans extends beyond therapy, aiming to build a resilient community.
Helios Warriors offers low-cost sliding scale services, made possible by a dedicated corps of volunteer licensed/certified practitioners who provide holistic healing for the whole person, not just symptoms, to enhance physical, emotional and spiritual well-being for veterans.
The practitioners at Helios work with each client to assess needs, determine desired outcomes, and create a recommended care plan with complementary modalities that support positive results. Modalities offered include Acupuncture, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Chiropractic, Counseling Therapies, Emotion Code Therapy, Hypnosis and more.
The approach is working! The veterans served by Helios have reported reductions in pain and stress, and increases in their abilities to get more out of life, thanks to these services.
Research shows that holistic therapies can reduce the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), depression, anxiety and more. And, veterans who receive massage or energy work will tell you those therapies are great for relieving stress and chronic pain too.
