We thought it would be nice to learn a little more about the Blue Ridge EV Club this month. The Blue Ridge EV Club is for all EV enthusiasts who are interested in promoting the benefits and joy of driving plug-in electric vehicles. Members are located in and around the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in the WNC region. The club is affiliated with the Electric Auto Association and endorses their mission statement: The Electric Auto Association accelerates the widespread adoption of plug-in electric vehicles through education and advocacy.
The Club is happy to give presentations (as well as rides!) to community organizations, schools and churches and more. Upcoming presentations include one of Asheville’s middles schools and then several of the high schools. The next opportunity to catch up with the club is on February 4th, 1:00 pm at Lenoir-Rhyne University. This will be a club meeting and presentation on “ABC’s of Charging a Plug-in Car”
You can learn more about the club online at their website or on their facebook page or email them at blueridgeevclub@gmail.com.
